FORKLIFT CONVERSION COURSE
Luft Training Services offer so many different types of forklift truck training courses, each requiring a different skill set. Conversion Training Courses will help speed this process, focusing on the differences between the courses rather than repeating their similarities.
For example our RTITB Forklift Training – Counterbalance – Conversion Course is for current certified forklift truck operators who wish to convert their Fork Lift Truck driving qualification and skills to include a counterbalance forklift truck licence.
This Fork Lift Truck Operator Course – Counterbalance Conversion training, will include the theory assessment followed by the practical operator training and assessment which will comply with the standard laid down in accordance with the HSE code of practice L117.
We will require documentary evidence of existing certification which must be produced as a prerequisite to attending this course. This particular course enables the successfully trained operator to convert their existing forklift qualification to include the use any counterbalance forklift up to a 5000 kg lifting capacity (with authorisation) anywhere within the UK.
Some training courses can last for days, but with such a wide variation of forklift trucks on the market conversion training is designed with practicality in mind, helping our operators quickly gain experience on new equipment by focusing on training them with the skills they require and not going back over knowledge already gained from previous forklift training courses.
ABOUT THE FORKLIFT CONVERSION COURSE
All conversion courses have both written and practical tests, checking that each delegates knowledge is up to date. On completion of the forklift conversion course students will be fully qualified to operate the required forklift truck to RTITB standards.
Forklift conversion operator training will ensure that all delegates have built the required level of fork lift operating skills through practical and theory training that complies with the standards and regulations set by the HSE Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L117.
