Cherry Picker Training is available to businesses and individuals across West Sussex and East Sussex to include Chichester, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Worthing, Lancing, Hove, Brighton and all surrounding area’s. If you are not sure if we cover your area please call us or use our contact form page as ember of the team are always happy to assist you.
CHERRY PICKER TRAINING COSTS
It’s a well known fact that there are companies out there which offer Cherry Picker Training courses on a pay monthly cost, this involves signing up for finance and usually incurs a very high interest rate and in some cases a deposit.
Normally these companies do not train their pupils direct and ultimately request quotes from companies like us. At Luft Training Services our Cherry Picker Training costs are both competitive and low so you can afford to go direct.
ABOUT THE CHERRY PICKER TRAINING COURSE
The current minimum age to take the Cherry Picker Training Course is 16+ years old.
Instructors can come to your site using your facilities and equipment.
There are two types of training courses held, 1 day refresher and 1 day novice.
- One day novice course is for operators with no previous training or experience.
- one day refresher course for up to 3 candidates is only for operators who have had previous training on the equipment and need to renew their certificate.
Each successful operator will receive an A4 size certificate from Luft Training Services. You will then receive a national and European recognised photographic ID licence which will be RTITB Registered and details will be held on the Nors National Database which will be sent to you in the post shortly afterwards.
Cherry Picker licence training is accredited to RTITB. Luft Training Services accreditation to RTITB is assessed annually and subject to the standards outlined by the body for Boom training and other courses covered by the training body.
Candidates complete practical exercises under observation and an assessment of competence to achieve a Cherry Picker license. Learners must also demonstrate knowledge by completing a theory examination. Following successful completion of these assessments, a photo ID card Cherry Picker licence is issued to candidates as well as a Cherry Picker certificate.
The Health and Safety Executive recommend that refresher Boom Lift training should be considered every 3 to 5 years dependent upon the operational risks involved with the activities.
The RTITB Boom Lift course can be delivered in a working environment. Luft Training Services trainer/assessors will incorporate practical tasks meaning candidates are able to undertake Man Lift training on jobs they are required to complete in their normal working day. For reference during Cherry Picker courses, the manufacturer’s instructions for the MEWP should be made available to the Luft Training Services trainer/assessor.
Cherry Picker training cost depends on where the course is delivered, either at our training centre in Littlehampton or at you own premises.
